I thought that was covered under the ability to use an evaluator instead of standardized testing.
People were using Religious Exemption as an excuse to not school their children. That's absurd. Your child needs an education. You can still teach them whatever curriculum you want to teach them including religious materials.
Homeschool parents in Virginia are up in arms over SB1031 removing the option for religious exemption. Here's the thing- you can still homeschool your child. You just now need to provide proof that you're capable of homeschooling your child and that you're actually doing so.
