How about you donβt shut down blue point
If the state of Oregon forces Portland into having Waymo I hope some group pops up that just runs and opens doors on empty waymo vehicles so they have to keep paying to have people close them
Recap from two big hearings on HB 4085 - a bill sponsored by people who don't live in Portland and that would open the floodgates for robotaxis in Portland, despite it being opposed by the City of Portland.

U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.
They wonβt.
We hired a new city administrator and it took him a couple weeks to find out the pre-charter government was basically Vibe Code.
Picking SpaceX for anything they havenβt finished designing and building was a crazy choice.
If you look like this my DMs are open
I got the air quality monitor and it connected easily to HomeKit via matter
raiding the public coffers to benefit cars and landowners under the guise of βaffordabilityβ
The editors of the CDCβs Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) were apparently fired today.
The precursor to MMWR began in 1878 to address emerging public health threats rapidly.
We are not βgreatβ without it. We are vulnerable to threats from sporadic foodborne illness to bioterrorism.
how is this real lmao

Really loving #GhostofYotei #photomode is great. Hopefully they add character poses in the future. #PS5
Taken just a few minutes ago outside the ICE facility in Portland that Trump claims is under siege. My message to Donald Trump is this: we donβt need you here. Stay the hell out of our city.
We know that transit is a lot safer than driving no matter how you slice it, and cities built to encourage transit trips see far less people dying on their streets. Making transit faster and more reliable has to be a part of the work to get Portland to zero traffic deaths.
Yes, do this.
"You cannot arrest someone because they are Hispanic" is worth fighting for. It's worth shutting down the government for. And it's worth attracting attention to.
Mayor just left the bike Portland bike happy hour after anti ICE and pro Gaza folks chanted with megaphone and interrupted interview. Lots of unhappy folks who really wanted to hear mayor talk about the whole diverter thing
Ruining the bike Portland event doesnβt seem like an effective way to get any support
I wish I was still in Seattle. Hasn't even been 12 hours but I want to go back.
Bike math is paying virtually nothing and getting a lot in return.
Car math is selling your soul to waste your life in traffic and inhale kilograms of particulate matter.
Oregon dems let republicans sneak a sunset amendment to transit funding in exchange for 0 votes.
Iβm going to lose my mind
Oregon's Democratic-majority legislature, in the middle of a special session to raise emergency transportation funding, just added a transit funding sunset, creating another likely fiscal cliff just a few years down the road.
Everyone in #orleg leadership should be replaced for this cluster fuck of a debacle when they have a supermajority.
Last couple days in Seattle. Got to see the city from a few angles (Gas works park and the ferry) as well as checking out a bunch in the city and see the Amazon Sphere.
Day 3 in Seattle and first day at Pax West was awesome. PokΓ©mon Legends Z/A was better than I expected, the expedition 33 panel was a blast, met @andycortez.cool, Borderlands 4 was awesome (gravity nukes are so cool), got some good food, and now Iβm ready for a day of indie games tomorrow
Best cosplay at Pax West
One thing Iβm loving about the brt in seattle is that they seem fine with being ahead of schedule.
They have good enough frequency they donβt need to sit at a bus stop for 3 minutes because traffic was better than expected
