Here's a little video that shows how I test the solder joints of an ESP32 and check for short circuits on adjacent connections π of course in beeping mode if you're watching the video without sound ;)

what I like doing least on PS2s after disassembling/reassembling PS2 fat, recapping consoles π
I hope you enjoy this little video
a bit of fun, and a lot of headache for not much, but it finally works! PSBBN on SCPH70004 (and all SCPH700xx versions).
Test performed with SATA Mod, functional with all iDE Resurrector based mods.

I like simple things, it's not always easy to do...
I buy sometimes PS2 Slims in loose condition, and it occurred to me to make this kind of power supply when I modded my SPCH900xx.
I hope you enjoy π

Introducing iDE resurrector Origami!
Easily mod your PS2 Slim SCPH700xx console with SuperPS2/DVD2SSD/"Dirty Raw external HDD" while keeping SD Card mod compatibility.
Installation of retroGEM, Methylene and USB-C power supply for this SCPH90004 Silver. I used wires for rather than flex controllers with Methylene and it works great!
Hope you enjoy !
Worried about getting rusty βΊοΈ- quick practice session on this SCPH90004.
RetroGEM, USB-C power supply, and Methyene mods in the pipeline

The installation comes down to 4 wires, given the very optional and fun nature of this mod, I won't provide any support for it, it's provided as is.
2/4 - According to my modding principles, I prefer giving tools and leads rather than providing a ready-made solution that forces usage within a specific framework.
Here's a small guide on how I proceeded to make a relatively clean installation on PS2 Slim.
1/4 - I don't like vaporware, and I believe the season is perfect for gifts, so here's one π
This is the version of the excellent Blueretro by Mr. @darthcloud64 adapted to display some information on an SSD1306 OLED screen.
need to think about something else right now...
in fact, I've implemented a few new things for Blueretro for Methylene. It's still in the proof-of-concept stage, but it adds a bit to the user experience, while being compatible with all Methylene versions.
