One of the things us “Bluesky Elders” have learned from our year & a half here is that this experience is what you make of it. Block trolls, don’t quote drag, mute jerks, mute topics that make you angry or sad, just go all in on self-moderation and this place can be so fucking chill. It’s worth it.
I've blocked the trolls. No need to engage with people who show who they are off the jump. They recognize who they are. They don't care.

Public Libraries can be wonderful places where children and adults can find books that they can see themselves reflected in, no matter who they are, and books that can introduce them to entire other lived experiences. Both are so valuable!
