I feel like it’s Not Enough? Not satirical enough, primarily, and maybe also not serious enough? It’s so deeply invested in its historic imagery and authentic reproduction, which is great, but I can’t stick with the story. In the doc I watched, they were trying to write the script daily. Mm hmm.

Watched Blue Moon last night and I can see Ethan Hawke getting the best actor Oscar for that performance, the virtuostic verbosity in the first hour or so, particularly. So much more than I’d expected.

I just borrowed 2 DVDs from the library: Barry Lyndon, which I’ve never liked but want to try again, and All that Jazz - I’d failed to find it streaming (might be there now).
It doesn’t matter whether the rate of global warming is increasing. It’ll never cease to amaze me that people don’t care that it’s happening at all. It should be the most alarming thing ever.
