We met farmers and charities involved in the scheme. Geographer Esther Sanz Sanz also presented their Food Environments research which led to an afternoon activity in Avignon exploring access to food stores #exetergeography @exeter.ac.uk
Yesterday on the Avignon field course we were hosted by the Mairie dβAvignon & @inrae-france.bsky.social at Lycee Agricol Petraque & City Hall. We learnt about how the Mairie leading an innovative food aid scheme Paniers Solidaires providing local, organic produce to those on low incomes.
