There's a beorg update out today: search bar added to Customize, option to guide future repeats and a fix for the "add search" button appearing when it shouldn't.
If you any further details on how to reproduce this that would be helpful. You might find it useful to look at the beorg debug log (www.beorg.app/support/debug/) after a sync where a conflict happened, and send me any relevant parts + details of what actions you took.
I've setup an iPad with beorg and WC (using file provider). I have added some content in beorg, edit .org files in WC, committed changes and made updates to the calendar so that calendar-beorg.org is updated by beorg and therefore changes picked up by WC. No conflicts yet.
π€ If you'd like to know what takes place when beorg syncs your files, then my latest blog post is for you! https://www.beorgapp.com/blog/beorg-sync/
There's a new beorg update, just released! You can read about the changes on the beorg blog - https://www.beorg.app/blog/beorg-3.36.0/
Settings screen with "auto sync on modify" setting highlighted
beorg tip - If you have lots of files in beorg try turning off "auto sync on modify". This will stop beorg performing a full sync each time you change something, and instead only sync when the app is backgrounded.
beorg tip - how to configure Quick Capture to add items at the beginning of a file. https://www.beorgapp.com/blog/quick-capture-start/

Screenshot showing setting the default priority value
beorg gives tasks a default priority of B for the purposes of sorting on the agenda. If you want unprioritised tasks to be shown after tasks with a priority, set org-priority-default to Z. (Use an init.org or the Customize extension.)
beorg tip - beorg will use the #+title file level keyword when displaying the name of a file.
Screenshot showing long press on calendar item
beorg tip - long press a calendar entry on the beorg agenda to create a task based on the event.
beorg tip - to capture text from Safari, make sure to follow these steps:
1. Select the text to share.
2. Use the main share button in Safari (not the one in the text selection menu).
Non-Apple apps can't access the webpage URL via the text selection menu, so beorg won't get the associated URL.
Screenshots of beorg templates screen
beorg tip - you can duplicate a template with a long-press to bring up the menu. Great if need a template similar to another one and don't want to set absolutely everything up again from scratch. πͺ

Check out the How To articles at https://www.beorg.app/learning/ to get more out of beorg.
Screenshot of beorg date picker quick options
beorg tip - When setting a date tap the ... button to choose from tomorrow, at the weekend, next week or next month.
Screenshot of the top right menu in beorg, on the Agenda tab. The highlighted menu item is "Select Items..."
beorg tip: you can edit multiple items at once. For example changing status, adding/removing tags or rescheduling. Start dragging with two fingers close together on an item down/up the screen, or use the "Select Items..." menu option.
I'm still working on this, but hope to have the folding on the agenda and tasks tab ready soon-ish!
There is a beorg update just released. This fixes an iOS 26 bug, introduces a new setting so that search looks at both headlines and notes, and a setting to change how beorg determines if a task is overdue.
There's a small iOS 26 bug in beorg I've spotted. The button on the Agenda tab to show the saved searches causes a crash. I've submitted a fix for this and hopefully it will be approved before iOS 26 goes public on 15th September.
beorg tip - the most important functionality is free, and always will be. Extensions are available via a subscription - or you can purchase individual extensions for a one-off payment.
beorg tip - unlike many iPhone task managers, you choose where your data is stored. beorg supports iCloud, Dropbox, WebDAV, Box, and apps that support sharing folders.
When I developed beorg in 2017 I was an Org mode newbie. Some early decisions I made werenβt quite right. One was pointed out today by a user - beorg considers an incomplete item with a past scheduled date as overdue, different to Emacs. There will be a flag to change this in the next update.
Screenshot from beorg settings
beorg tip - go beyond just TODO and DONE. Set custom action and done states in beorg - such as NEXT, IN-PROGRESS or CANCELED!

beorg tip - to speed up changing a taskβs state or priority, use long-press.

If you use the beorg βSync items to Calendarβ feature, beorg creates a special calendar which it manages. When it notices new items to be synced it will clear the calendar before adding events from your .org files. This calendar should be considered read-only.
Thank you for your kind words! Lovely to receive on the first day on Bluesky.
beorg 3.30.0 is out today. It features a new extension to perform a one way from your iOS Reminders to a .org file. Use this to see your Reminders in your Emacs Org mode agenda.
