I found it to be much easier than I thought to stop shopping there and on Amazon. I encourage more people to abandon these kinds of retailers and do more to support those who support all of us, rather than cowing to powers that be and the nightmarish entity that capitalism has grown into

Ok, the Apple Podcasts subscription issue has been half fixed and half… not so much. If you are interested in doing a year-long subscription, the price point is listed incorrectly right now and will be fixed (i.e. increased) on the 4th to be $24.99 for a full year
