I wish I lived a little closer to Halifax and gas wasn’t so darn expensive now because she’s going to be joined by Kate Quinn and Janie Chang on Monday at a thing at a library there. I’ve just started Kate’s new book The Astral Library, but it’s an hour drive down.
I got this book signed for my cousin in law for a Xmas gift since I basically audio these days. Anyhoo, if you want to read a titanic or Halifax explosion book, give them a look. Her next book will be out next yr and I’m sure it’s a WW2 book from a hint I got. 😉 (the tiny “book” is a chocolate)

Met Donna Jones Alward yesterday at a book signing in my town. I listened to her two historical fiction books last year and really enjoyed them. Lovely person to talk to…prob 4-5 min chat. She told me “audiobooks are books” 😊 and that she does get paid with Libby borrows as well

After watching One Battle After Another last night, my husband and I decided we really should know better and just avoid critically hyped movies. It was okay, I guess. Not life changing. I haven’t even toyed w seeing the ping pong movie.

Another puzzle in the books. This was a Xmas gift. Would’ve been nice to do it before Xmas but still fun to do.
Did the audiobook and my hubs read the ebook. It does start out slow. (In both of ours opinion.) Hubs almost gave up. It does pick up!

Made confetti squares for my husband for the 1st time the other day. They’re a fav of his and so easy to make I don’t know why I didn’t look up the recipe years ago.
I feel like I got at least one other ornament this year on holiday but I can’t find it on my tree.

When the cc machines would go down back in the 00s, our store would drag these out but we’d have to call the cc companies to get authorization #s to use once we could do the transactions…11 depts, 4 phone lines. Fun times. Cash is sometimes still king.
