I trust him because my pet bird loves him :). so the cat gets to stay. and then you keep going and you bump into yet another old acquaintance of yours (now retired and living her best hippie life) (which is highly frowned upon) and she goes Oooooh! Is that my cat you've found? :) and you're like, what the fuck is the deal with this goddamn cat, but you can't say that outright because you are a government official on a very important mission, so you go "i wasn't aware you even had a cat? also the microchip says it belongs to our other colleague" and she goes "oh well no i don't but clearly this cat is wearing the collar i give to all my pets so it must mean he's come from the future :) where i will own this specific cat :) hi little kitty! pspspsp!" and you're like, what the fuck is wrong with everyone today? and then the cat looks at you and says "she's right. i come from the future. where everyone has been turned into cats since the world ended. also i will kill you in about twelve thousand years from now. fucker."

Harped on this before, but terms introduced in Endwalker—Etheirys, dynamis, Elpis flowers—all have common names, and these names are most likely restricted to Sharlayan scholarly papers.

The star is known as Hydaelyn (if not simply "the star"), dynamis as akasa, and Elpis flowers are heartblooms.

It's funny because there's so much overlap between them as people that I actually had to stop and think about which flaws each of them have that the other doesn't. 99% of what they get mad at each other about is either bristling at seeing your own flaws in another, or just plain hypocrisy

🔆Saeran and Thancred actually butt heads somewhat often. There's the usual reciprocal frustration that both of them are terrible at taking care of themselves, but Thancred gets mad at Saeran's impulsiveness, and Saeran gets frustrated at Thancred's tendency to shell up when he's upset

it doesn't, the tpu layers on both sides of the fabric need to touch directly to bond. you can experiment with whether the tpu bonds to the fabric well enough on its own but generally direct contact is recommended

it's pretty awesome! if you're working with non-mesh fabric, you'll probably need to cut some small holes scattered where the scales will go so the plastic on both sides can fuse (which the mesh does automatically, due to being mesh)

it'll take some experimenting if you've never printed with tpu/on fabric before, but it's pretty nifty :)

any chance you have access to a 3d printer? printing the scales with TPU directly on the fabric could give the effect you're looking for
