Well I hope when you retire you have a long and happy one. We were stymied earlier in life with a move abroad due to family. I was offered a position in Japan but had to decline, but as it happens it was probably for the better
Sounds like a great job you had, I was a mech eng for about 20yrs then electronics which took a lot of fun out of homebrew for me, it was like a busman's holiday lol.
Now I retired I don't know how I fit a job in. The move to Spain was a dream come true
Yes, finally got a permanent antenna up, went on yesterday for the first time in nearly 3 years, but walk to wall cq contest, not a great fan. Hoping to do more during the week and catch up with shack jobs. I have never been an avid user, it's a pastime
