Well, if you insist…
God bless yer! I haven’t heard it yet. Not sure I want to, tbh, it might put me off doing more!
If the poster for Witness in the Dark doesn't make you want to watch it, you must be crazy. What a fantastic image.
I wrote about it in this mighty tome a few years ago. I’ve also reviewed the new release for @on-magazine.bsky.social
Spoiler: I bloody love it.

Best episode ever.
For World Book Day I’m dressed as an author who would love some people to buy their book.

I’ve been a couple of times, but not for about 25 years. Hopefully going again soon though. It’s an amazing place.
I can't say for certain - I can only search the UK Amazon site. I'd be amazed if the answer was no though because there are US contributors to it and, I'm assuming, it's print-on-demand.
Any fans of The Prisoner out there? I'm proud to say I've been involved in this new publication, having written a chapter and designed/drawn the cover. It's now available in hardback and paperback on Amazon:

One of the greatest British movies of the 1960s. Brilliant stuff.
A blonde woman in an ornate black dress raises a dagger above her head outdoors, her expression determined as sunlight filters through the trees behind her.
A sepia-toned still from a vintage horror film showing a man's disembodied head with wide, startled eyes, patterned wallpaper in the background.
Two men in Victorian style clothing stand close together in dramatic red lighting. One older man with white hair and a moustache looks alarmed while a younger man with slicked back hair stares intensely ahead.
A stern looking man with slicked back grey hair and sideburns holds a a skull while wearing a black glove and dark Victorian suit. Red lighting and laboratory equipment glow in the background.
Oops! This was supposed to drop tomorrow, but I hit the wrong button. Our loss is your gain! ⚡️

Sadly, the dates don’t work for me. If they did, I’d be booking like a shot.

I bought a copy for my uncle a couple of christmases ago.
And yep, we are an odd family.
Do check out Confession (1955) on @talkingpicturestv.bsky.social today at 4:35PM starring Sydney Chaplin, Audrey Dalton and John Bentley . Written and directed by Ken Hughes. #BritNoir #FilmNoir
The play was co-written by Patrick Cargill and later filmed as Twice Around The Daffodils. The plot also formed the basis of Carry On Nurse. Dunno about TA, but I’m reliably informed that McGoohan was a playboy in it!
Made a few pleasing purchases at Elsecar Antiques Centre today, including a theatre programme for Ring For Catty, starring Patrick McGoohan and his wife Joan Drummond.
My second-ever audio commentary is on The Snake Woman.
If you love reading about stars, films & TV series, British film studios, vintage fashion & classic cars, then you need the #TPTV glossy, monthly magazine, Intermission. Not sure? Then try 3 issues for just £15 inc P&P. A real treat. buff.ly/MmD99Vs
And directed by Robert Fuest too.
Or... (I hope somebody's going to show the Timmy D version, btw. I remember enjoying it, but haven't seen it for donkeys years)
I genuinely love The Ugly Duckling. Anybody who reckons Bernard Bresslaw wasn't a genius - we cannot be friends.
Probably Ted Hughes.
Back down to earth with a bump. Had a cracking weekend in London, returned home to find the freezer has broken, everything’s defrosted and ruined.
Bought this afternoon at a @talkingpicturestv.bsky.social event. Diving straight in.
Love this film. I talk about it here: directory.libsyn.com/shows/view/i...
It’s a brilliant adaptation of a brilliant novella.
I went to the BFI Reuben Library today to research a thing and I feel compelled to say how wonderful the staff were, so helpful, kind and knowledgeable. I shall be back one day, it’s an amazing resource.
