It's a hard problem. I feel like on BlueSky specifically when I unfollow people, it's actually because of mass-reposting. Like, I'll follow an artist who I love, but 90% of their impact on my feed is reposts of other art that I don't love. It's just all very tangled.
Do other folks feel like their posts should be narrowly confined? I want to post about TTRPGs or game dev or politics or my art journey, but then I think, "If followed me from my TTRPG comment, surely they'll be disinterested when I post about Procreate." And so I don't post anything.
Recency bias and all that, but I think Wealwell might actually be my favorite d20 NPC.
