I am so pumped on this book. This period of scattered cells and rebel factions is endlessly fascinating to me. I do hope that they touch on cells that aren't primarily human (one of my rare complaints about Andor), or at least show them to be more multi-species entities.
Great article, James. That cover is 🔥

TF.N: And message boards will answer!
People were extremely sweet and didn't make the obvious puns, lol
They even come up with a compelling backstory for the Emerald Chain. I think that this story is really resonating with me given the situation we face in the world right now. As good Trek has always done. I seriously can't recommend this series enough.
Earth has already seceded. Ni'Var is under threat from Nausicaan pirates. Andoria needs help maintaining its atmosphere. Tellar is so desparate for food that it is starting to hunt native protected species. Ferenginar has 70% of their populace unhoused. The list goes on and on. They need dilithium.
The Last Starship comic is so freaking good. I finally caught up on issue #5. The series is fleshing out the post-Burn situation within the Federation in such a real and compelling way. Having the delegates convene on Babel and share the very real needs of their worlds adds great nuance to the Burn.
Now I’m building LEGO

I mean... let's just say that she knows the closet in my office is loaded with toys. I should have proposed with the Mon Remonda, tbh
bless you both 😂
Best part is, she has ZERO idea about that reference 😂😂
I’m very lucky 😊❤️
Engaged 💍
I’m excited for both books for different reasons. As much as I love Ackbar and Rebel/NR fleet stuff, I find the period of the early rebellion to be endlessly fascinating!! 😊
Getting a Rotta the Hutt film before a Rogue Squadron one wasn't on my SW bingo card, but hey, neither was having a series show Ackbar vs. Thrawn in its second season.
I know it's blurry but this is the widest map we got of Alpha and Beta quadrant space in #StarfleetAcademy (in "300th Night") so far. We already knew half of Romulan space is now Sarrotheyn space but the other half was taken over by the Ckaptir (2nd + 3rd pics: the species and their emblem).
I give the folks behind DISCO and Starfleet Academy a lot of kudos from restraining themselves from introducing the 32nd century USS Enterprise. Lord only knows what letter in the alphabet they are up to (I'm sure we're not far off from NCC-1701-Z, lol), but I do want to eventually see it.
This book is tied with Star Pilots as being my most anticipated SW books currently in the works!
Well, you're in for a treat!
Her energy with the actor playing Caleb was... interesting? I was watching with Caileen last night (who doesn't follow Trek in the slightest), she thought they had a strong sexual chemistry, only for me to say "that is his mom".
The former regions of Romulan space seem to be split between the UFP and the Sarrotheyns. The major former Romulan worlds along the old Neutral Zone border seem to be in the Federation. Considering we never saw what was on the backside of Romulan space, maybe the Sarrotheyns were always an adversary
Plus, there are other errors on the map. Memory Alpha is listed twice. Volnar, Free Haven, and Prophet's Landing all have (Bajor) listed after them. Which is weird.
So freaking happy with these maps!
