this isn't apologia for people who are pro-censorship or make a stink about innocuous fiction btw, there's no excuse for that, but my point is that if you want the "profic/proship" labels to catch on with people who agree with you, then maybe meet them on their level and stop making this about you

the funny thing is, the majority of people with these views aren't like this at all, it's just that you only seem to hear from the most inflammatory people with the worst prioritization of issues and they're the ones who use the "antis" or "proship" labels the most so it poisons the well

this is what frustrates me, why is a good cause being primarily represented by the most immature stunted tumblr-discourse raised people? I feel like if you shifted your focus to the issue instead of making smug comments to 16 year old "puriteens" or whatever more people would be vocal in agreement

As someone whose views could be labeled "profic" or whatever i've gotta be honest, even though I agree with a lot of you on ideas you do kinda act like children, which might be why you exclusively argue with people younger than you instead of like... adults, the people actually affecting censorship

this is kinda a weird post to put on my NSFW account but idk there's no rules for what I can post on here, I just noticed how absent generation stuff is in certain NSFW circles and thought it was cool, more spaces should be like that

the former feels like a concentrated version of the constant generation discourse that's present everywhere on this site but the latter feels like something I haven't seen elsewhere, I think seeing eachother be freaks lets older adults see young adults more as individuals like them and vice versa
