i’d like for some people to grapple with the fact that “the most important election of our lifetime,” if you actually mean it, implies that the governance period following it is also the most important governance period of our lifetime, and adjust their demands/expectations/behaviors accordingly
None of them can talk coherently about strategy or goals but they are completely in sync in all their macho posturing because that is all they’re really focused on. Everything else is just whatever limply offered fiction is convenient to them at the time.

I got to visit a butterfly house today.
Even though that's the actual purpose of the facility, the sheer density of butterflies is a little surprising. I couldn't get a really good photograph, but if you stand still, waves of butterflies will just break around you at intervals.
