I love this movie so much. Am I a white girl who grew up in Sacramento? Absolutely not. Am I a woman who has always been a creative person whose relationship with her mother was loving, but also complicated for various reasons? 1000%

Actors can NEVER bet on continuing to work. That's always been the nature of this very freelance business. But the whole point is that they WANT to work, not send an AI doppelganger in their stead (or have an AI doppelganger hired instead of them).

Licensing ones image for endorsements/ads is one thing, but no actor would do this for films/shows. The entire point of acting is the DOING. Both Pitt and Cruise are both well over 40 and still acting. So are men and women much older. And SAG is fighting AI tooth and nail.

Yes. It's one thing to be conflicted about buying someone's work -- but we should always TEACH the work AND speak honestly when teaching about the artist personally. Learning that brilliant work doesn't absolve ANYONE of harm they cause, is such an important lesson. Esp for potential future artists.

I mean, it does EVENTUALLY, but only because she lived so long she forgot what her name was!
