I really wanna try it properly and not with the Level 5 cheese so I hope I can beat him at some point 🤣

Very cathartic experience playing this game as someone who is absolutely terrified of death. So Kuja and Vivi (all black mages tbh) are very relatable and I enjoyed them a lot

Honorary mention of us watching the epilogue and me going "So, where's Vivi?" and my girlfriend going "Oh, he's dead."

Screaming in agony as two of my faves in the game are dead. Absolutely loved Vivi and Kuja and both are so immensely relatable.

Now I only want to do Hades and Ozma. The latter absolutely scares me but I'm totally fine with getting killed over and over by him lol.

IX was so much fun and I have the Kuja and Kuja/Zidane brainrot

but then Steiner's Auto-Regen killed him because he was zombied after Grand Cross 🤣 So in the end I died to him too.

But! Next try I got him as well after paying attention. Trance!Zidane and Holy Eiko carried the entire fight honestly.

Kuja absolutely destroyed me with Flare Star 🤣
Next try I got him though and I will never use Doomsday on Vivi ever again haha.

Thought Necron would be easier. Nah. Grand Cross demolished me because Ribbons in ff9 are not like in ff7 and I didn't know 😭

Funny tales from finishing ff9 yesterday (obvs spoilers so don't read if you haven't played it yet)

First dying to Kuja because no one knew what Doomsday does on Vivi (just fine on Steiner). Proceeded to kill everyone except Zidane who still had his Auto-Life. Thought I'd survive but nah.

Finished ff9 now and this list is now updated! ff4 is so good that I cannot move it down 😭

My hope is that by advancing faster with my Finnish level I can hopefully understand those videos (with Finnish subtitles) and written sources enough to not have to decipher a completely butchered English translation 🤞🏻

Main reason for the sudden jump in level (I'm currently A1.3) is because my uni teachers refuse to not give us Finnish sources. They keep saying to just use the translator or run it through AI, which really isn't useful at all when you want to learn.
