From 1961 at Pittodrie
From 1961 at Pittodrie
One of the best weekends ever. If some of our players were unsure what this club is all about they saw first hand this week
Thanks for sharing this. I think we have team photo with him in it
Pittodrie from the Broad Hill 1980
Aberdeen v Queens Park from 1939. In all of the previous 6 clashes, the Dons have been drawn at home against them
Another big test tomorrow. Given what's happened since last game there will be interesting to see how we approach this one.
Well deserved against a mind numbing McInnes borefest. That's the way to win games against teams like that. As for Walsh, the refereeing cabal should be looking into his performance
Normal service resumed. Oday looks a player.
Love this guy. Been involved in big money deals but no 'Billy big boots' from him. Clearly loves Aberdeen. Top player.
Oldest known AFC memorabilia
Looks a class act
Knoester looks a proper player. Jensen showing some great quality and energy. You can see type of player JT is getting in. Onwards and upwards
I think the farce of the closing minute summed it up. Desperation from every pore. Dodgy penalty, Dessers grimacing like he'd been shot, VAR doing their best to help Sevco, piss poor referee, thon Taverniers fanny run up. The Glasgow Derby eh?
The lad Knoester looks a proper player

Two greats of the game. Aberdeen manager Alex Ferguson meets Real Madrid coach Alfredo Di Stefano before the 1983 ECWC Final in Gothenburg
That's where we were. Perfect view of what was horrendous defending. Like I say the lads confidence was gone before today. He should have never been a starter today.
Can't understand why Ruby started today. The lads confidence has been shot to hell before today. After that first half his Aberdeen career is probably done. Poor management
Denis Law, a sad loss to the game, Aberdeen's finest ever export
Used to climb the walls to get into Pittodrie as a boy. Here he is as a young lad brought up in Printfield in Aberdeen
Think it's important we hold our nerve. Horrendous as the last 12 games have been, the team lack confidence and there are clear round pegs in square holes in terms of selection. That will change. Keep the faith.
Top player, class act. Great signing
Classic image from the 1983 ECWC Final. Rougvie fairly got wired into those Spaniards
Some essential reading this year
Signed Fold out Menu from Brian Grant's Testimonial Dinner in 1996
George Hamilton, one of the club's finest inside forwards. Only Don to score four against Celtic at Parkhead and a hat trick for Scotland in 1951 against Belgium.
Pittodrie from the Broad Hill in 1980. Looking back and considering where new stadium plans are these days, one can only wonder what could have been possible with an aggressive long term vision following the clubs golden era of the 80s.
Bobby Clark, the Dons International keeper who was the clubs most capped player with 17 caps until that was broken by Willie Miller playing against Brazil in 1982 World Cup.
Happy memories for all at AFH as the St Clair ferry is full of Dandies in May 1983. Kings of Europe
