aww dang it! 10am sounds pretty reasonable to my tired ass though haha. (physical) transfer from switch took maybe 5 mins? didn’t have heaps of games though, maybe a dozen? rest of the setup was v quick, 10 mins total? mario kart world download is slow (2 hr est.) but that’s mostly my internet haha

setup felt super smooth, console and controllers all look and feel great, am v excited so far - gotta Get Gud at Mario Kart World over the weekend so I can kick some gay ass for pride month 😤

my boyfriend's been a great influence on me for a lot of things, but him getting me into regularly watching anime has been the biggest blessing and biggest curse

finally had enough free time to finish an old zelda wip of mine, but might have made it a bit mid...

(this basically means we have 85% of the machine code that runs the game hand-rewritten back into readable C/C++ code, and that new code compiles back to the exact same thing byte-for-byte as what’s on the disk, which is kinda crazy)

in better news, we hit 85% complete on the Pikmin 1 decomp the other day! officially overtook where the Pikmin 2 decomp got up to, so now we’re now the second most complete GameCube game decomp project by percent (after Mario Party 4) 🎉🌱🌸👀

feeling very resigned to the “doing it means doing it tired” mantra rn and boy am I tired

getting back into exercise and eating right after a massive dysfunction hole sucks man. do people have advice on making it suck less or is it just “grin and bear it until it becomes normalised again”
