Technically it’s a gameboy pocket CPU, clock, and RAM, transplanted onto a DMG like PCB github.com/ConsolesandC...

It’s original Nintendo gameboy hardware, except I intercept the LCD signal with an RP2040 and modify it for display on the Sharp MIP panel. The 4 shades of greyscale are simulated using ordered dithering, looks kinda like the playdate in real life
