It's a safe haven mainly for the people who hated twitter and want to discuss how "twitter bad bsky good", and it's fine to drink that flavor aid! It just doesn't mean twitter is full of nazis and trolls and assholes like everyone here implies.
This place is an echo chamber though. I personally don't post here because I don't fit in. This is unfortunately a place where people get offended way more easily and everyone is very PC and whatever. I've also already seen people get blocked for just having a different opinion.
There are absolutely porn bots on this platform, and gfx artists, and weird illuminati spammers. It's not as clean as everyone makes it out to be, and that's okay, because it's going to happen. This site also does some of the same scraping twitter does. No one wants to talk about it is the dif.

i also think people are incapable of separating Elon Musk from the site, and will take any opportunity to complain. Has he made bad changes? Yes. But as an example, people crying over the block feature, literally anyone can still see your tweets blocked. Log out, incognito mode, alt account. Duh.
i honestly don't want to personally. in the 5 years i have used it, i have personally had 0 issues. like inreally feel like a lot of it is who you follow and the content you choose to interact with and i think a lot of people upset themselves, and that's not the websites fault.
