I did the practice swim the day before the race at 59 degrees (wetsuit & still cold AF) and USAT wound up cancelling the swim for all races on the weekend. We swam in Lloyd Lake at the Speedway so no gators!

I completed my first sprint triathlon last week in Daytona Beach and I can confidently say that running is officially on the back burner for the next few years. Running is just dreadful. Why does anyone do that for fun? 🤣

I’m turning my attention to aquabike races in 2025.
