Think for myself. I get more left wing as I get older. Always independence. Don't suffer fools gladly. Retired nurse ( RMN). No DMs unless I give consent and automatic block if you do it anyway. Block for anyone who asks for money. This is not the place.

The reason the media are going after Zack Polanski:

His opposition to Israel's genocide & Iran war

The media is not your friend

This is similar to the Sycamore Tree Gap incident. Beside the cultural vandalism, is a rabid entitlement to destroy the prides and joys of others. Look at the beauty Glasgow lost to the ugliest amongst us.

Bernie Sanders just said the quiet part out loud:

"A lot of US Middle East policy is dictated by Israel. It was Israel who decided they wanted to go to war."

He exposes how Netanyahu has manipulated America into wars for 40 years, from Iraq to Iran.

β€œWhen someone shows you who they are, believe them”

Labour have shown clearly that they will happily undermine devolution and put party before country.

Plaid Cymru is answerable only to the people of Wales, and the only party that will listen and make Wales our priority.

I'll donate to the SNP for the election but I won't vote SNP on the list. Doing that only helps unionists get elected and in all likelihood that unionist would be a Reform candidate. Its SNP in the constituencies and Green on the list for folk like me. I'm not helping elect Reform MSPs by SNP 1 & 2.

Labour’s dangerous plans for NHS Scotland The Holyrood elections are just eight weeks away. This will be a critical election for Scotland’s future and it is more important than ever that Scotland returns a pro-independence majority, …

Labour has dangerous plans for NHS Scotland & would introduce privatisation by the back door. Meanwhile Reform UK is hostile to the very concept of free universal healthcare. Only an SNP led Scottish Govt will protect NHS Scotland from the private sector.

"Problem with voting SNP1/SNP2 is that it risks getting no Indy majority at all, whereas SNP1/SG2 is far more likely to result in a pro-Indy majority."

Agree with @indyposterboy.scot . It's SNP1 / SG2 for me as well.

Humiliation for BBC Scotland as its own poll shows a Yes majority BBC Scotland has done one of its pre-election polls to tell us what Scotland β€œreally thinks” as we go into the Scottish election in nine weeks time. On Tuesday, BBC Scotland unveiled it…

I wasn't going to blog again today but some stories can't be missed - BBC Scotland has been humiliated as its own polling shows a lead for independence, a Yes majority when don't knows are removed. Pacific Quay is in full on damage limitation mode.

If I was @zackpolanski.bsky.social, I would be pointing out to the BBC that whatever model they use to justify giving Farage & his boot-lickers season tickets for every BBC show under the sun must surely now treat Green Party politicians in exactly the same way. Might even be one for the lawyers...

A fascist govt elected on a third of the votes cast. The historical precedents are uncanny. Its like we're living in 1930s Germany. Only difference is that our corrupt voting system gives the party gaining a third of the votes an overall majority. Hitler had to scheme to get power. We give it away.

Kaine on Fox: "The president can act to defend US against imminent attack without congressional approval. But if you're going to initiate war, you need Congress. The president not only did not come to Congress, he acted without even notification to the vast majority of us. This is an illegal war."

Keir Starmer as a leader has a rare ability not found in many. He can identify a position, then backtrack, compromise, do a U-turn & stand on his head, and then abandon it. Net result: Starmer ends up respected & supported by no one & despised & disliked by nearly everyone.

Fascinating anecdote from A.N. Wilson today in the Mail. 20 years ago the brother of the editor of the newspaper he worked for became a foreign ambassador. Then the late Queen & Prince Philip came to visit the country & left behind a pile of expenses for their official trip. HT @willoyd.bsky.social

Quisling Starmer. A weak man doing the bidding of the fascists. He's complicit in this illegal war, just as he is in the Israeli genocide. Parliament should have its say. Let the electorate see who supports this illegal war. History is repeating itself.

If we need proof that the Labour Party is dying out in Scotland look at this picture. The delegates are few and far between and most of them could give Methuselah a run for his money. A once great Party laid low.Thats what happens when you don't give a damn about Scotland and defer to Westminster.

A mandate on just over one third of the votes cast is no mandate. UK parliamentary democracy is fundamentally flawed. Little wonder that trust in politics and political institutions is at an all time low.
