And now Iβve selected a level and realized that you have all these awesome add-ons β¦ Entirely possible Iβm just a dummy and most folks know this will be an option. But also Iβd love to know which of the add-ons were recommended in the various bundles!
Iβm excited for this! And am super embarrassed Iβve waited so long to back it. But β¦ there are no levels between $12 and $139?? I can add on $$ but would love to buy copies to give as gifts, stick in little lending libraries, etc! Smaller bundles? @ironspike.bsky.social bc youβre the one I follow!
YESSSS I want to hear this story sometime!
INCREDIBLE.
A set of 15 little planting containers with dirt in them, under a light. One line of 3 containers all have multiple green cotyledon popping up in them.
At least SOME dahlia seeds are sprouting! Weirdly, these are all from Brookside Snowball, not from one of the collarettes. But hey seedlings are good! π±
Again thinking about how the number of times the Bidensβ German shepherds bit Secret Service agents was likely a good, not poor, reflection on their training.
Everyone stop what you're doing, the Mariners are selling fries, nachos, and fish and chips in ferries now. www.mlb.com/mariners/bal...
I doubt we have any idea whether the detainees are being treated at all, in which case, this is a death camp.
Those are some murder eyes right there.
If my teenager said this about me with any degree of compliment in it, I would definitely take it as a compliment lol.
My intro genetics class in undergrad got into cat coloration and I retyped whole paragraphs from the textbook (with commentary) in emails to my mom bc it was so exciting for both of us. Itβs a good sign as a parent. π
Literally, we are so obnoxious you guys
In today's good news a single dose drug for sleeping sickness that could completely change the elimination game. Dare I hope for eradication!
Acoziborole administered as a single oral dose was ~95% effective across both early and late-stage disease in RCTs.

We had an 11yo chocolate lab (who maaaybe stopped acting like a puppy himself around 10yo) when we adopted a 2mo puppy. The old guy spent a good two weeks being visibly annoyed by That, another week pretending to be annoyed, and then went all-in on puppy play. YMMV with chronic fosters lol.
βWe remember classmates who never walked again. We remember neighbors who lived with lifelong disabilities. We remember funerals for children who should have grown old alongside us. These memories are not meant to frighten, [but] remind us what happens when a dangerous virus is allowed to spreadβ¦β
functionally the best case scenario for Platner is that he's just a complete idiot who has no business making decisions in the Senate
Ah I see. I divide mine every year, and then push tubers on friends and coworkers. But Iβve been slow about it that last number of years, and Iβm thinking I should get started soon.
Except instead of static or noise itβs gold glitter that is beautiful and so celebratory! β€οΈ
This post APPROVED by my extremely pedantic and also meme-focused 13yo so help us all.
Different issue, but I actually managed to put my dahlia seeds in dirt the other day and Iβm sending Jeb! βPlease clapβ memes to my friends as a result lolsob. Do you divide tubers in the fall? I havenβt started dividing mine yet, but I should.
Hey so you should absolutely contact your sens about the nomination of Dr. Means for Surgeon General. She is (unsurprisingly, given who nominated her) TERRIBLE. Check the preceding post to this Buttons post for the link. It is seriously so easy.
As a reward, you get VIOLENCE EYES and A TOOF!!
Done, with some added language about βSHEβS ONE OF THE ASSHOLES RESPONSIBLE FOR ME HAVING TO VALIDATE A CLINICAL MEASLES ASSAY ARE YOU EVEN KIDDING ME WHAT YEAR IS THISβ. I mean Iβm not really worried about either Cantwell or Murray here, but hey.
If your lights are strong enough for them to not get leggy in that time, then probably yeah! You can always top them while theyβre there, so theyβll really be ready to explode once they get transplanted. I only have ~1β of height for mine.
If thatβs relevant to your situation at all?? If you have better space for benching you might be fine, but the plants will be weak if theyβre grown for too long in a meh space like my basement.
I try to start my tubers inside in March for early May transplant. I have a shelving unit with lights in my basement, so if I start too early: 1) plants get too tall and outgrow the shelves; and 2) lights arenβt strong enough so the plants get leggy. But also itβs chilly so that may slow growth.
Family lore says my dad still has several copies of the Feb 7, 1978, edition which was printed but not delivered. He worked as a typesetter for the Globe at the time, and got there from our triplex in Dorchester by ski. Amazing that itβs been superseded. Global weirding, yay! π
My 10 turned to me during VAR review and told me very seriously that HE was going to count the goal whether the ref did or not. This kid is finally starting to pay attention for at least a good chunk of the games, while both older bros are totally locked in, and dad is THRILLED. 3-0 Sounders lol!
ROTHROCK! π We were so bummed to see Morris go out so quickly but I was of course thrilled when #14 came in and almost immediately had the play of the game. That he was so specifically inspired by Liuβs skate is extra awesome.
Her research laid the groundwork for the Global Positioning System, GPS, a technology that has made getting lost a thing of the past.
