On This Day in #AssassinsCreed history, 333 years ago on 10th March 1693, Edward James Kenway was born in Swansea, Wales. He abandoned piracy and joined the Assassin Brotherhood in 1722, later settling in London in 1723. Edward died in 1735, leaving behind a lasting Assassin legacy.

On this day in #AssassinsCreed history 52 years ago, Daniel Cross was born. Cross was a fallen Assassin who eventually joined the Templars, becoming a member of the Inner Sanctum. Cross was killed by Desmond Miles in late 2012 at the Abstergo facility in Rome.

Assassin’s Creed Unity is getting a free 60 FPS patch for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on March 5, 2026.

Ubisoft has officially confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Jade is still in development.

Several other Assassin’s Creed projects are currently in the works. They are also looking into bringing co-op back to Assassin’s Creed.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be moving into its final phase of support. Ubisoft is winding things down with smaller, less frequent updates… but there are still a few surprises!
