Being treated to breakfast at a fancy local hotel this morning. On the one hand: Somewhat pretentious serving style of tea, on the other: questionable artwork... 🤣

Literally felt like that scene with the 9th Doctor and the Cyberman head in the museum 🤣

Great morning out in Sale to check out the new Cosgrove Hall Films Archive exhibition at Waterside. A really good showcase of the companies history and how important they were to the animation scene. Well worth a visit!

Occasionally wheelsets are slightly out of gauge, in this case one is too narrow resulting in not being able to run through point work, after taking the wheels out the model you put this on the axle between them and either push apart or towards it to get the correct gauge. A better image for clarity

Had to splash out and get myself a 'back to back' gauge so I can correct a fault on one of my model train's axles...

The fact that it is Sir Handel with the dodgy wheels is not lost on me! 🤣

Got to renew the ol' Annual Pass by the end of the week if I want it in time for opening day. Honestly though, I'm struggling to justify it at this point.

Feels very much a 'Last Chance Saloon' moment, which is such a shame cause the gardens are the one place I feel totally at peace...
