Working on one of the most ancient techniques- coils!

Canada’s Indigenous pottery history is so rich and diverse, the more I learn & try the more I admire this land’s first ceramicists.

For my own decoration I pulled from my Scottish ancestor coil potters, who seemed to like their stripey lines.
