I have to admit that I'm kind of amused that a world renowned natural history museum like the Field is getting a Pokémon exhibit. It seems like something that should go to some smaller local museum.
We have plans to visit this exhibit when it comes to Chicago this year.
Guess what perimenopause makes some women do?? Bleed a lot. Ask me how I know.

Wow...sometimes it's good to know that other people my age are also showing their age. At least other teachers at work are actively shocked when I tell them I'm 44. So y'know, I guess I look sort of okay.
Maybe. I've not had great experiences with psychologists.
Hrmmm, I'm not sure that I eat or drink anything else to replace it. I typically only have one or none soda per day during the week anyways. I'm too busy to drink more than that.
I've switched to mostly zero calorie soda. Some of them have bad aftertaste but there are a couple that aren't too bad.
I got several pairs of new work pants...now I get complimented on my pants a lot at work. I don't know how to respond to, "I like your pants." Me: Ah yes, right...thank you? (why did you put a question mark on that, you doofus?) So smooth at taking compliments...
That combined with like old book/paper smell that often comes with collections like this.

Tonight, the 10 year old is having a sleep-over with her two best friends. It's a Harry Potter themed party per Hannah's request. They are currently making potions with the potions kits I bought each of them and laughing a lot. xD
Aww, my friend's daughter that I've been helping navigate college and getting through her teaching program got accepted into the master's program I wrote her letter of recommendation for. <3
I swear it feels colder tonight than it did Friday or Saturday...we're heading into another super cold morning tomorrow with wind chills in the -20 to -30 range. We'll see if the superintendent cancels school again.
It would depend on where you land as the sun has differential rotation since it's just a ball of hot plasma. The equator of the sun moves faster than the poles. And of course you would be using a sidereal day ie a different point in the sky for timekeeping.
Listen, after being on a field trip to Chicago for 10 hours with teenagers today…y’all can have em. I’ll keep my preschoolers.
Bears didn't win on my birthday, but it was one hell of a season. Nobody ever expected us to get this far in the playoffs or hell even make the playoffs. I'll take this NFC North crown and wear it into next year because now that we've taken the North...we're never giving it back.

Since I was sick from that allergic reaction last weekend, I was way behind on laundry. So this weekend, I did 5-6 loads of laundry. Busy, busy!

I keep Windows up to date. Those updates are scheduled. I just checked Chrome this morning when I was noticing the difference, and it is up to date also. I just checked Firefox and it says it's up to date also.
