You see vampires dont cast reflections because of a curse, but as a defence mechanism. You see the first vampire was once a mortal, a mortal who died because of his reflection.

If all of these things are purely there for vampires to be hot, then whats with the reflections? Why can't vampires see their own reflections? Dont hot people like to see themselves in mirrors and photos?

-the blood thing? Did you know Elizabeth Bathory who came to be known as Bloody Mary and was clearly a vampire would bathe in blood to stay young and beautiful. Clearly blood has some hotness properties for vampires.

-Unaging? That's just eternal youth to stay eternally hot
-Almost always hot? well I don't think that needs explanation
-Don't like garlic? It causes bad breath which detracts from hotness

-They are unaging
-They have a thing for blood

Sounds odd I know but i have some sound reasoning and by the end of this you will be agreeing with me.

So first of all let's talk about a few traits most if not all vampires share

Just had a player share some art for our daggerheart campaign and i spent a few minutes looking at it, counting the fingers and stuff
fuck i had generative ai

once and had someone say 'i want to be a magical character' so kinda obvious there
and sometimes people just have uncomfy concepts i.e once had an application where the concept was literally a nazi.

I play online with a lot of randos so my go to is always
1) your pronouns
2) a brief character concept

There are some people who get butthurt about pronouns so they make it clear very quickly
and character concept is to see if the person can read the premise i.e i ran a supers game with no magic

the key thing of it is just about a person being created to be killed off to motivate the protagonist

Just because the story is about something doesn't mean its also not the trope
If i write a story called enemies to lovers where its about enemies becoming lovers then the story is about that while also being the trope.

my suggestion is to start somewhere small and build out

Don't want to get into the combat mechanics too much without figuring out some animation so i get feel for the feel
so now im learning how to make customizable characters and animate them
figured out how to change the colouring of individual parts of the character

Now I have a basic spear attack
damage and range of the attack is adjustable on the spear item details
currently it does 2 damage and the fish have 2 and 3 hp each
if far enough away it does nothing. if you get close enough it hits and can hit both fish
