That's the bare minimum. They must be afraid to be recorded in their misdeeds. If we can't hit that VERY LOW bar, abuse will continue unchecked. That was so obviously assault.

This birthday week was about emotional, and spiritual healing & working on barriers that kept toxicity in and love out.
I’m grateful. As I wrote in the dedication of my new book:
“To all the people who both hurt me and healed me; thank you for my story.”
Today I meditated near the vastness of the sea at the peak of the full moon: time to shed, to grow, to rise. Always trying to heal; never perfect.
“No one stares at the sun for too long
for fear of blinding
What if you knew it would never rise again?
Would you stare?”

Today on this flower full moon in Scorpio I’ll be meditating and/or writing at the beach soaking up her energy.

Thank you. I think doing what you’re supposed to do isn’t that special. I was basically the opposite of my own parents. lol
I helped raise my nonchild (stepkid without marriage) from 12 to 18 and he’s now 30. I hear from him every year now and I have his bronzed baby shoes as a thank you gift from him years ago.
You don’t break up with kids.
He’s also a good case study for nurture vs. nature. 🖤🙏
I don’t usually do them since I tend to meet people organically but being in CT vs. Manhattan is a different animal. Outside of an alt lifestyle app but taking a break from that. I’ll be 51 in less than a week so figured why not? But I likely will quit if after a few days lol.
Decided to give a dating app another swing. Not a good place for a sapio. I wish they showed original prose or non self-promotional philanthropy instead of pics.
Still holding out for my meet-cute though. I randomly get approached by a lot of people but it’s rarely cute. ☺️

It's never too late to break up, quit, come out, move, transition, divorce, change your life, start something new. If you choose to stay with something that makes you miserable, you owe yourself a better justification than sunk cost.
Almost halfway through 2025 and it’s worse than 2024.
I still remain grateful for what I have. But enough with the sucker punches. I want to maintain my grace.
