‘Vladimir’ Review: Rachel Weisz’s Vexing Netflix Series Aims for ‘Fleabag’ and Falls Wildly Short New Netflix series 'Vladimir' follows a literary professor whose fixation on a hot young author takes control of her already off-the-rails existence.

Loved “Vladimir” the book, which made “Vladimir” the show a significant disappointment. And Rachel Weisz is… an impediment?! how? what? who am I 💀

We are At War now, according to President Bush, and I take him at his word. He also says this War might last for "a very long time."
Generals and military scholars will tell you that eight or 10 years is actually not such a long time in the span of human history - which is no doubt true - but history also tells us that 10 years of martial law and a wartime economy are going to feel like a Lifetime to people who are in their twenties today. The poor bastards of what will forever be known as Generation Z are doomed to be the first generation of Americans who will grow up with a lower standard of living than their parents enjoyed.
That is extremely heavy news, and it will take a while for it to sink in. The 22 babies born in New York City while the World Trade Center burned will never know what they missed. The last half of the 20th century will seem like a wild party for rich kids, compared to what's coming now. The party's over, folks.

‘Scrubs’ Review: Can J.D. Shine in TV’s ‘Ted Lasso’ Era, or Has Time Already Passed Him by? The new 'Scrubs' arrives when nice, sensitive guys aren't the outsiders they once were, but that doesn't guarantee the sitcom is well-suited for 2026.

I wouldn't encourage anyone to watch the new "Scrubs" if they weren't already planning on it, but the most interesting part is seeing J.D. — a TV trailblazer for sensitive men in a sea of tough guys — step into a world where he's not the outsider anymore. www.indiewire.com/criticism/sh...

‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’ Review: Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe Rake in the Laughs NBC's 'The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins' fits the '30 Rock' mold while building its own delightful satire with Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe.

NBC's latest attempt to make it 1997 again through science and magic is to settle for making it 2007 again with Tracy Morgan and "30 Rock" writers — which works out quite well! Funny show! www.indiewire.com/criticism/sh...

HBO’s “Neighbors” kinda works as a provocative snapshot of American division, but it doesn’t work as a comedy, character study, or anything productive. (And after a few episodes, boy was I in a foul mood.)
