Y'all I just watched a #Dateline that has me sobbing. But happy tears, and much needed. It was about a Kiwi and an American teacher, both in Japan when the tsunami happened, presented as a mystery but with the happiest ending. They are the sweetest humans and I hope they are still so happy!

It's a fun tool! This is supposed to be the 2nd to last step but I finished the cabled collar and then realized the pattern (not my design) is such a shit show that I'm going to have to re-write it. All the complaints about trying to get even retail jobs in the past yr are not exaggerations. He was never called back, I think bc of his medical face mask. This place has never even remarked on it. They are lucky to have him. He's smart, conscientious & kind. I'm so glad they are treating him well.
He's enjoying this job even though it's retail. It's fun retail. And he brings me home goodies.

Ah good to know, but gas prices are still insane. And my disabled son was FINALLY able to get a part time job that allows him to mask (and hopefully keep his Medicaid, which is the why) - but it's a 30 minute drive each way and he works short shifts 3 to 4 days a week so fuuuuuck.
