Have already made a vat of leek and potato soup.

This is a terrific thread - M&S and dogs, what more do you need.
I recommend the M&S Gastro pub Chicken Kyivs and the M&S Collection Labneh dip which has a delicious zingy basil and mint dressing on top.

Nil by Mouth, Breaking the Waves, The Magdalene Sisters.
All brilliant no doubt, but all really disturbing.

Alysa Liu absolutely smashing it in the ice skating and having the time of her life in the process, performing to Donna Summer. What a superstar.

Bizarrely people seem proud of it, rather than acknowledging it is a failure of parenting

This. If you are old enough to go on holiday yourself, then it's your responsibility.

Just opened a baby Baron from Neals Yard and it is hard and chalky in the middle despite being at room temperature so you are not alone.

So long as it's not followed by failure, plummet or tragedy, then I am OK with it

We too followed Scottish tradition and had steak pie, with mash, neeps and sprouts - somehow we also need to break into the baby Baron Bigod.

It was tasty and yes, cosy too. I'm very much enjoying your Maltese tales.

I made a Winter minestrone loosely based on an Alistair Little recipe but have included all the bits of veg hanging about in the fridge - hopefully like a Nonna would. Have a few cooked chestnuts leftover that I’ll crumble on top. I do love a dumpling though.

Our local hot meat sandwich shop went viral on Tik Tok causing massive queues. Until everyone realised that Β£13 for a shit pulled pork sandwich was quite a lot of money.

They were delicious. A warm spice, plus the inclusion of prunes and apricots in the mix gave them a lovely sticky softness but not sweet.

We have some "Moroccan lamb*" sausages from our fab butcher which I'll serve with some sort of couscous concoction and a cabbage salad.
* normally they are merguez but these are not as they contain apricots, apparently

This is awful. There are FCA procedural guidelines about dealing with vulnerable customers, and bereavement is covered in these guidelines (which are available online). I would suggest you complain to the bank and the FCA.

Ps. I read that recipe in Guardian Feast yesterday and it might not fit the 'reasonably easy' bit of the brief.
