The Decameron was my favorite by far, but I think all three ultimately showcase some really great filmmaking on Pasolini’s part, and I think he’s able to engage in his comedy without compromising his ideological bent

Went to watch Pasolini’s Trilogy of Life tonight and without knowing anything about the movies I brought up the idea that they could end up being comedic romps and sure enough the entire trilogy is one long comedic romp
