They would be a top tier duo!
Between kitty's ninja training and Sue's shield training, they would be hard to beat even without powers. Any team without a psychic, magic, or enhanced senses would be useless against them!
I agree that she might have needed a minute after she slaughtered a bunch of people (in literally the coolest kitty moment I've ever seen) in particularly violent ways.
I just want more for her! She was here before jubes!! She has so much experience that they could have used to elevate her further!
I know that was kinda the point, but it felt like a let down. It feels like we missed out on a version of kitty that could have come back as a full fledged leader.
Also, having Emma as a support character between the two of them should be a crime lol
I did! I love a good emma moment but even that was kind of stale for me.
It just takes us back to the "Kitty Pryde wants to be a Normal girl" space which honestly felt weird since she was just a mutant freedom fighter/political leader/robonazi killer.
Xmen, uncanny, and storm have kept the ship afloat, but just barely lol.
I just feel like there was a better way to address all of it that didnt involve burning all of the Krakoan character development to reset the characters to his preferred era.
I did feel a little hope for United, but only a little.
I did pick up M&C and it wasn't bad, but it feels emblematic of the problem that the x-books are facing atm. Its like most of the books are trying to fill in plot holes or solve some mystery from 20 years ago.
Honestly, none of them. Juggernaut as the opposition to BP? Race-mixed Psylocke? Rogue with broken powers? The inglorious return of cable and boom boom's shoulder pads? Pass. What's the point? "The xmen were the best in the 90s/00s"? Let me know when they've started doing new shit again 💁🏾♂️
