A few years ago when I still had delusions of going to grad school to study literature, I wanted to write a thesis tying together southern gothic and Reconstruction. Alas

I think late Johnny Cash songs are so dark and apocalyptic because he was a scared, repentant old man.

I am hip pain free for the first time in months. It took a solid week, but I think the injection worked. It’s only a temporary fix, but I can walk and sit however I want for now
