In December, I officially reactivated and became Co-Chair of the IUCN SSC Anoline Lizard Specialist Group (ALSG), which will work to ensure the long-term viability of the nearly 400 anole species found across North, Central, and South America. 3/
I love reptiles/amphibians with my whole heart. I got my PhD because I wanted to work on reptile conservation. To that end, I have wanted to be involved with the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) for a long time. It's one of the reasons I chose to work with my PhD advisor. 1/
