Journalists Georgia Fort and Don Lemon and activists Trahern Crews and Jamael Lundy were arrested this morning over exercising their first amendment rights to document and protest at Cities Church to bring attention that one of their pastors was the head of ICE in Saint Paul. They were released.

Right wing influencer and J6 rioter, Jake Lang, was chased out of his rally today in downtown Minneapolis. Around 10-20 people showed up in support of him with hundreds of people counter-protesting his rally.

These are 3 of the around 20 people that were arrested after last nights noise demo.

Two people sat down in front of many law enforcement officers. They were mostly State Troopers, Conservation Police, and Minneapolis Police. Light emanates from a spotlight from a armored vehicle. It casts a light that cuts through the night sky. Lights of different color temperatures fill each of the rooms. A silhouette of from a guest at a hotel is seen looking down onto the scene. In front of the line of police, 2 people, one with purple died hair sit down on the concrete of the Minneapolis city street with their hands slightly up. A line of law enforcement officers stand in 2 lines and wait for the moment they can arrest protesters. Lining the street are old 5-7 story brick buildings that were turned into hotels and apartments.

Jan 5, 2026, Saint Paul - ICE has stepped up its intensity in the Twin Cities. This week there’s an expected 2,000 Federal agents to arrive to Minnesota for Operation Metro Surge. Around 30-40 ICE vehicles were seen leaving the Henry Whipple building in the span of an hour.

Jan 3, 2025, Minneapolis - Between 200 and 300 protesters took to the streets in an emergency protest to denounce President Trumps attack on Venezuela and the kidnapping of Venezuelan President, Nicolás Maduro.

Hundreds responded by taking to the street to protest.
