My last golf of 2024 was at Hayling Golf Club near to where my dad used to camp as a kid in the scouts.
It is a cracking spot and I had a great time in a society day, as I told @ianwoodsmedia.bsky.social Woods in our golf pilgrim podcast that can be found here. podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/t...
You haven’t read a single thing I have written. Time to try the Bluesky block for the first time. Bye.
Football is not a two-minute game. What did he do for the rest of the match when we needed something other than a step over?
If you are going to take our double-promotion, FA Cup semi-final reaching manager and thrust the patchy form of an erratic winger against him, I reckon me and you should end this debate. Sorry MR and the overall state of our club doesn’t mean much to you. You have missed out.
Mate, honestly, the players you describe have disappeared as soon as the going gets a bit sticky. Eg yesterday. So far, we have had half a good game at Millwall when they shone. More please.
So many? I wish! Four or five. His crosses were exactly what he did at Peterborough, week in, week out. It has not just been discovered. I don’t know why he was so uninspired under MR. The ghosting thing is good and has resulted in two important goals. Thank goodness for them.
Lots get a bounce , a renewed enthusiasm etc. But I have to admit my heart’s not in it at the moment, so probably no surprise the players’ hearts aren’t either.
Is guess the whole MR sacking has taken away a big chunk of pride in my football club. For a while, I thought we were different. Loyal. Refreshing. All in it together. Now, we have just spun the clock back to Coleman, Dowie, Reid etc. Back to mediocrity. No identity. #pusb
Can’t say I spotted that in the second half when we really needed our best players to stand up. I guess I expected a renewed vigour and I am just seeing the same if not worse. Missed chances and crass goals being given away.
Honestly, can’t say that. If anything, the defence is worse. I want to see a new manager bounce but not there yet.
Is Lampard not picking it?
Don’t agree. I seriously doubt that MR would have adopted that team selection when four key alternatives were available. Lampard was too easily fooled by a very scrappy win over very poor Hull. MR wouldn’t have been as easily pleased as he seemed to be. #pusb
Obvious, isn’t it?
It is one of life’s great mysteries. He offers nothing offensively and simply lets goals in
Missed chances, crap goals… repeat, repeat x30 (and fact - Bidwell is not letting that second goal in) #pusb

Would be fantastic for you to say how great you believe it
Would you like to add to the podcast, Mike?
Australia was everything we dreamed it would be. And along the way, Mrs W and I played some dreamy golf courses.
