The untamed hero isnt just at odds with their sect/orthodox sects, they are vilified and persecuted by them. The vilification is usually by a bad-actor and the hero must go through serious tribulations before the truth is revealed
Looking for recs: #cdramas with an “untamed hero“ lead. A martial hero who defies conventions to do what’s right, not what is accepted by the majority. I love this kind of hero and want more.
