What's My JND? Find your Just Noticeable Difference in colour perception. How small a colour difference can you actually see?

Not as good as you but pretty ok nonetheless.

I settled for blue cheese and quince paste on fresh sour dough ciabatta then a peach. Seemed to do the trick.

Too many clouds for a really spectacular sunset but beautiful rays coming through from a gap above the mountains.

Had my fingers crossed for something spectacular but it didn’t really happen here.

A wee bit early here yet but yesterday I saw a sign that someone’s getting ready. A beautifully painted sign at their gate saying β€œFreejoias”. Love it.

An electric wheelchair sounds essential. What can be done to help you get one?

Sorry - had read things wrongly and see that you haven’t been given antivirals. Give the acupuncture a try. I’d be very surprised if it didn’t help take that awful nerve pain down several notches.

Acupuncture can make an enormous difference to the pain involved with shingles. Used extensively in China but also here. As well as your anti-virals, not instead of.

A few years back my lawn mowing person and assistant helped themselves to nearly my full crop of peaches. I didn’t realise for a few days as was working long hours and came and went in the dark. My neighbour enlightened me. No more lawn mowing at my place for that team.

Stunning. And thanks on behalf of all of us who have watched but cannot photograph it.

So many stars to gaze at as well. Lucky to have a super clear sky up this end of the island. 🀩

Happy to be a herbalist - can grow them as well as dispense. Happy to help keep everyone well and happy.

Marmalade is essential.

I’d go orange rather than lemon. But cardamom sounds good - haven’t tried that.

Ginger and rhubarb go so well together.

Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed.

For many years (as a child) I thought it was the AMP Show.

One of those is too much for anyone at any time, let alone both in the same week. Sending love 🩷

Wow! Where are you? Mine aren’t even close as yet.

Mint is easy and great for digestion, lemon verbena tastes wonderful anytime, melissa (lemon balm) is great if you have a headache. And no blending required. Just pick and drop them in your cup or teapot.

Sunrise this morning - dark hills in the foreground topped by layers of bright orange and then dark grey clouds. Further up a wispier orange cloud floats in front of lighter grey clouds and a sky that is tipping to blue.

The event was at 7am. What must he be doing to take 3 hours to get ready?

Impressive harvest. I have been bottling peaches this afternoon but nowhere near the scale you’re getting through.

Oops - just saw that it serves 4. So I guess it gets cut up. Still wouldn’t be keen.

And how do you eat it? With great difficulty I would imagine.

Yes but only in the last couple of days.
