(4/4) Know that this is coming from someone who grew up with Harry Potter. It was my whole life for a while. It's the book that got me into reading when I was 11. If I can leave HP, my Hogwarts house, and all the merch behind, so can everyone else. We can find magic and belonging elsewhere!
(3/4) Even some of my coworkers in my library system are still doing Potter themed programs and decorations. I am disgusted by their lack of caring and empathy.
(2/4) Some of the original Potter actors are still on this train, promoting new Universal attractions and new stores. A paycheck is not an excuse. If you stand with Harry Potter, you stand with JK Rowling. You can say that her beliefs don't affect you, but that only shows your true colors.
(1/4) Following the news of Tom Felton joining the cast of The Cursed Child, I just want to say how disappointed I am that people are still interacting with the Potter franchise in any way. People are still reading the books, buying the merch, watching the movies, and seeing the shows.
