Bonus: We set ourselves up for success with a roast in the crock pot this morning, so the house was smelling delicious and warm food was at the ready upon return to the abode!

Much needed boost of healthy production. Wrapped up business taxes, new website writing / content curation in the works, general price list updated and new printed version created, all normal & customary death life office happenings.
May tomorrow bring the same!

The actual NOR facility we will partner with trademarked Terramation. Terramation would be noted on their paperwork so it would be on us to educate with transparency who we work with, and their language for the process.

In MN, when this disposition is chosen the death certificates will state Natural Organic Reduction.
The company we likely will partner with coined & trademarked Terramation. It would be referenced as that on all their forms for our fams.
Each funeral home chooses how they present this disposition.
2 yrs pondering how this disposition will be presented on our service list & website. Cruising through all my prepared options. It feels so big, defining how as a funeral home we'll represent this to the world.

Ex) When comparing a "direct cremation" one firm may include the crematory fee ($'s vary, I've seen up to $600 in the Twin Cities tonight) & another may include that is their direct cremation services/package.
Ex) Some firms include private viewing/goodbye before cremation, others add on for that.
Back to funeral home general price lists (GPL)
A GPL is a great START to comparing costs of desired services, but it must be accurately deciphered with what is/isn't included in that service/package & what is noted as an add on. Could be more helpful if there was more industry required consistency.
We're increasing prices first time since pre pandemic era & also offering new methods of disposition in alkaline hydrolysis & natural organic reduction. Big shifts.

Going through Twin Cities funeral provider's general price lists which we're required by the Funeral Rule to have our goods & services offered itemized. It is a great start for comparing apples to apples while also can be wildly confusing depending on how it's presented.
