Meltdown. And he was, especially in the face of an old peer who never questioned his emotion, a peer who was easy to melt into as there was no chance of misunderstanding or wrong, and with Scrapper gone? His mind addled day and night, dreams were strewn with fond memories until it was too much
He wouldn't pry into personal matters and he almost missed the familiar face, somebot who could actually get the job done with no problems
The visible degradation over his muses' once taken care of plating did set off a flag in his processor, tired optics, and it almost looked like he was ready to-
Its not like Hook alone could cause any more ruckus than whats been going on, and Starscream sorta owed Flatline for building him a new body recently.
Flatline wouldn't know about his conjunxes demise, only that they had shown up with a new and rather problematic foreman
Soo Flatline and Hook need to meet up again after he'd left for Earth, being some time after Prowl joined.. so by then Hook should be doing fine enough n then BAM! The doctor he hasn't seen in ages had requested to meet again, alone.
