Never in doubt...
Never in doubt...
Bruce once told me my blogs were too wordy. For that, I tried to keep this is short as possible. Not sure it worked. RIP, friend.
Watching the game on a USA VR broadcast and the camera is penalty box side right at the top of the stairs center ice at the top of the 100s. Wave to me and the guys cause this sucks ass. Repost for folks at the game!
Huge win over the Canucks earlier this season propelled the Oilers from an early year disappointment to one of, if not the best team in the NHL.
Last night felt like a milestone game as well. Like the Oilers are set to run the table and win the Pacific (maybe more π)
Now that I've recovered, Happy thanksgiving from the States to all of my Canadian Skeeters!
Skinner Jekyll and Hyde routine continues.
If I'm the Oilers he's the starter until he has an off game and then it's Pickard until he falters. Let one of them (hopefully Stu) steal the crease. If you can't get your netminders to churn out consistent wins, start calling to see who's out there.
Probably one of Bouchards best games of the season and it showed through Skinners comfort level. Nurse has been solid as well. If he ever lives up to that contract and gets to his 2020 self, look out. Certainly trending in the right direction. A very dominant complete game for the Oilers.

Miss these 2 every single day
I fight for Grandma and Grandpa Thompson
You can't tell me there's not a dynasty guaranteed when this man re-signs for 8 more years.
Rough game for Stu. I believe he can get us there but the team has to be able to play full speed knowing that they get above .900. Gotta bring someone else in and see what happens.
OH MY EVAN
LEOOOOOONNNN YOU SEXY BITCH
Bouchard....woof
I'm so grateful to all that have followed me. I haven't had a chance to follow everyone back yet but I'll go through and do that as soon as I can!
Link in bio.
(Link is an album of dogs frolicking in a meadow.)
He's finally asleep thank Leon, but the night is long and full of unexpected surprises! Appreciate the kind words!
Was so excited to watch the Oilers game live with all of you beauties but my 2 year old and a random stomach bug had other ideas. Timeline got us through it. You guys are awesome.
Also, friends, glad to see you all here. Apologies to my handful of non-hockey followers. But this feels like old-times watching hockey βwithβ many of you. And significantly fewer nazis and fake troll accounts liking & replying with spam.
This was fun. Letβs do it again.
One Year Ago Today: Oilers fire head coach Jay Woodcroft, hire Kris Knoblauch
Seeing people that follow me on the other place skip me over on Bluesky π
Of course, I fully reserve the right to change my mind after the fatigue of US election season has worn off. Right now I'm just loving seeing all of my old friends again π₯°
I love all things free speech and ups to never being afraid to get political, but if you post primarily about things that are not hockey, Oilers/sports-related. I'll probably politely decline to engage. My goal is not to create a left-wing social media platform it's to be free from it all for a bit.
Who scores first for the Oilers tonight?
So glad you made it, Bruce! It's so quiet and fun over here!
I'm usually excited for Oilers games because I enjoy watching Hockey. Watching the game with my Bluesky feed watching all of you wonderful people react like it's 2013 <3
Can confirm this is Jack.
Turns out, it wasnβt Twitter/X we loved, it was each other.
I canβt wait to see that platform collapse.
This feels like a "get right" game. Much needed.
Everyone named Connor looks fantastic tonight.
