Dark Reaper exarch
Had a spare Dark Reaper exarch model missing both left arm and Web of Skulls. Converted it to have a Witch Blade, power fist and a flamer as well as a jump generator from the Warp Spider exarch.

That was one of the reasons I gave it a shorter barrel, the other was that I thought it would be a fun proxy for a looted vindicator.
A colourful model battlefield with two armies facing each other across it, lush with giant mushroom forests, a fungal grove grows along a river that splits the board with a single bridge leading to a small village on the far bank.
A close up of the village as the armies clash within it, a tower dominates the centre.
Amidst the mushroom forest a blood drake clashes with infantry and cavalry as other units attempt to manoeuvre in to more advantageous positions.
The two army general meet in the village, Count Gert Von Ball clashes with Dick Longfellow in what resulted in mutually assured destruction bringing an untimely end to the battle.
I managed to get a game of #Hobgoblin by Planet Smasher Games in last week.
This was our first time using the fortune deck, it really transforms the game and gives you a lot more options.
I can definitely recommend the rules to anyone looking for a streamlined rank and flank game.

Ten Hobgrot Vandalz on lava bases.
Hibgrot command - a drummer, champion, and banner flying the colors of Ur-Zorn.
Three Hobgrots - the rune on their shield is an old Chaos Dwarf marking for "slave".
Four Hobgrots. I tried to keep their clothing very muted to show their less refined sensibilities versus their Helsmith overlords.
I finished up a unit of 10 Hobgrot Vandalz for my Helsmiths army. These are 3d prints; I wanted to be able to run an army before the GW ones were available.

I like option A. I used the Jagdpanther as inspiration for my design and I feel that barrel leans in to that even harder.
A 90s retro 40k style tank, now with a gun barrel roughly as long as the actual tank.
The same tank but now with a gunplay mini gun about double the length of the tank. I would definitely need to weigh down the back of the tank if I went with this, to stop the back wheels lifting.
The tank now with TWO front barrels, one stubby cannon and one plasma thingummy. Nicely ludicrous but not unbalanced.
The tank now has another two barrels on the front, both cannons of some kind. This may be the one, though I'll need to cut them a bit so they're not both pointing up at 45°
Wondering whether to go with the stock barrel @doctorspork.bsky.social designed or to go with something even sillier.
I got 2 awards in the Squidmar Open! This feels incredible! I'm not sure which I'm more proud of: one is gold, but the silver is my most ambitious project. Classic Warmaster dwarfs. Most of them were painted when Warmaster was new more than 25 years ago. I recently dug them out and rebased them. The heroes and flame cannon is newly painted but I tried to match my old style. #nerdlings
