I recommend watching a video for that if you don't know how modding in Minecraft java works.

You need a mod loader like fabric or forge.

Then you can then download MidnightControls or Controlify or Controllable from modrinth. (or from curseforge)

Minecraft java itself doesn't support controller inputs but there are mods for Minecraft which allows you to use them.
