These are my favourites: Sinister, Stepford wives (original), Omen 2, What lies beneath and Copycat.

Well they might not have realised, possibly being unfamiliar with the lingo, like.

I hope you helpfully poked your head in and said, "Your sign's on sideways, mate."

You should have more moderate views, like, "Well, of course, we need to maintain a nuclear deterrent."

The whole scene is. Two members of ostensibly the same species with such different sized heads. Someone's been giving booze to these animals!

A nuclear explosion in black and white.

A nuclear explosion in black and white.

Just about to watch the best episode of the best season of the best TV series ever made.

This, on reflection, is top draw spag western, BTW.

Haha you could be talking about lancashire.

Think I mentioned I meet pals sometimes in Abergavenny and Newport, and the train down there last couple of times, honestly constant flooding for miles and miles permanently through Hereford and whatnot. You could film it and use it in a broadcast about climate catastrophe.

Wonderful. Psychedelic and existential. Takes the brief for an exploitation b movie and delivers fine art.

I really love Run For Your Life although I feel icky about admitting it and I find it hard to square with four loveable moptopped lads.

If I'm forced to "name one good song" I'm going with I Want You (She's So Heavy) although I'm sure it's not the only one.

Yes I think they were merely an extraordinarily good band.

You need a YouTube channel for this, I reckon. People are crying out for this sort of thing.

Yes! Also recently saw Luke Haines and Peter Buck in a pub in Preston, and must say I was quite starstruck being so close to Buck having seen him headline Glastonbury!

Saw them headline Glastonbury and that song was quite a moment.

He really reminds me of Aunt Agatha's description of Bertie Wooster, "barely sentient." He is, nevertheless, profoundly ideological.

Do I get bonus points for remembering that Gnasher is an abyssinian wire-haired tripehound?

I think it's easy to confuse Starmer's vapidity, his sheer nothingness in a suit, for pragmatism. In spite of his basic failures as a functioning human, he is committed to hard-right politics.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of John Cleese last saying something funny.

Irrespective of how much cash it puts in the kitty, we need a global movement to tax billionaires out of existence. They are nothing but a malignancy. Individuals should not have space programmes. More locally, we need to start reversing the devastation of the Cameron/Clegg austerity programme.
