Fellow Monster Kids, did any of you read "Peter's Angel" aka "The Monster's Room"?
I have been wracking my brain for literally decades trying to piece it together (I think my book loving neurodivergent friends will understand). I'm hoping this is it.
So after searching for years based on the foggiest of memories from my youth, I might have dislodged the keywords and arranged them into the right cypher to find a book from my childhood.

A Taito themed usb powered fridge. It works pretty well, but sadly doesn’t fit US standard-sized cans.

I never thought of it that way, and I appreciate the context. I always thought it was the broad slapstick, but this makes sense.

For my movie AND music friends over here. I'm playing bass in this cover band doing a chunk of the soundtrack to one of my all-time favorite horror movies, "Trick or Treat" (1987). It's also one of my favorite soundtracks, so this has been a real treat. If you're in Austin, come fock with us!

We're doing the best we can. Overall ok, amongst the chaos of things. I don't know if I am being the most positive, but I'm trying :) But we are overall happy, and we take our wins where we get them.

I'm still kind of giddy that one of my favorite screenwriters digs our show and likes hanging out and talking horror with us. John Logan (Penny Dreadful, Skyfall, Rango, etc.) is awesome and is always a blast to chill with.

Spotted @ericvespe.bsky.social and Wampler in Life of Chuck last night and might both soared and plummeted in the same moment. I'm still chewing on the film well into today.
The message of the film, and how our personal experiences change how we perceive art, is spinning around in my head.
The virtual fest has been a welcome slice of awesomeness every year. I’m going to have some good recommendations on the next Castle of Horror Podcast, and hopefully a wrap-up as well.
I’m watching as many movies as possible this weekend and planning my weeknights!

My wife has a new book out with some cool references to Austin and the goth/industrial scene we were in when we first met. I am really proud of her as a novelist, navigating self-publishing and being all around awesome.

If you are going to go against the separation of church and state and put the 10 commandments up in schools, you should first have to grind this up and make your followers drink it.
Just because I love 2000 AD comics doesn't mean I want to live in a 2000 AD comics world.
Isn't it just because of the new law that says you can't have hidden charges? If so, that would be a hilarious own that is good for the consumer.
Tate is particularly awful. I lived in MS for years and kept track after I left. He REALLY sucks.
